Auctioneer's Notes
Harmonicas
We are very excited at AAA Auction to be able to offer for sale an extensive harmonica collection. We haven't counted them or had the chance to examine them all yet, but there are hundreds, maybe more. Most are vintage or antique. Many of them have no recorded sales in the last 20 years and many have only a few. These all came from the estate of a serious collector who spent decades collecting them. We have done our best to describe the harmonicas, but we are not harmonica experts, so we encourage you to inspect the harmonicas in person before bidding. Sound and tone quality are not guaranteed. It will take a while for us to research them all, so keep checking back for more in our upcoming auctions.
We also recommend that serious harmonica bidders refer to a free resource book on line called John Whitman's Harmonica Anthology 11th Ed. April 25, 2019. It's easy to upload and easy to use to learn about over thousands of harmonicas. In fact, many of our descriptions also include a page number from this book that we think will provide valuable information for you regarding that specific lot. We do not guarantee that the page will show an exact match and we encourage bidders to inspect the lot before bidding. Also, as stated in the introduction to the book, the values listed are the amounts that the author paid for the harmonicas shown.
Downsizing and selling your home? We can help with both.
We sell what we can and clean up the rest. We also work with contractors and RE/MAX, so we can help you get the house ready to sell and sell it through the MLS. We also always charge less than the 1-800 clean-out services because we share the money from selling your things with you.
Gold Coins
AAA Auction does not charge the seller any commission for selling any government-issued gold coins.
Wondering if you have something good enough to sell?
We encourage you to check out our Sell With Us information, which includes a list of good items to sell and a list of bad items to avoid. We also suggest that to get the best rates, items brought to us should have an auction value of $30 or more. We do sell lower value lots too, but that is because we clean out entire estates and are required to take everything.
