How to Consign Items

At a live auction or an online auction, we sell things on behalf of their owners. Anyone can consign items for us to sell. To consign an item means that you pay us a commission based on the selling price. Items are sold individually or in groups. You may group your items, or you may choose to have us do that for you. The more your item or group of items sells for, the lower the auctioneer's commission. For an item or group of items that sells for $100 or more, there is no auctioneer's commission. Items or groups that would sell for $5 or less are best saved for your next garage sale or donated to Goodwill because the auctioneer's commission would be 100%, and you would make $0 on those items.

We are now accepting quality consignments of cars, trucks, ATVs, motorcycles, boats, snowmobiles, lawn equipment, guns, antiques, collectibles, furniture, and household items. If you need to liquidate your items immediately, we would be happy to meet with you and to consider purchasing your items directly. Contact us to consign items for an upcoming auction.

Consignments wanted! All consigned items must be clean and have no price stickers or tags on them. Think about how you want your items to look to potential buyers, and how you would want items to look if you were the potential buyer.

Please bring smaller items in stackable totes (plastic boxes), which will be saved for you if you desire. Owners of titled vehicles must provide clear unencumbered titles when dropping-off their vehicles or other titled items. Title work will be completed at the auction site.

AAA Auction & Realty reserves the right to reject items that we do not think will be of interest to our buyers. We do not accept TVs unless they have a built-in HD-TV tuner.

Sellers may establish a reserve on any item or group of items. A reserve is a minimum selling price that you would accept. A $15 no-sale fee will be charged if the reserved item does not sell.

It is the expectation of AAA Auction & Realty that using this commission approach will result in obtaining high quality items to sell at the auction. AAA Auction & Realty will not charge our consigners for any advertising. With such favorable consignment terms for the seller, it is our hope that we will be able to continue to offer quality consignment auctions at the Anoka Auction and Estate Center on a regular basis.

We hold auctions at the Anoka Auction and Estate Center on the third Thursday of every month. (We're taking January off though.) Other auctions may be held as well, if warranted by our inventory.
